I do quick recordings with the free Voice Memos app from Apple, but there are others.
The Music Memos app isn’t available for download anymore (deprecated), but you can still use for now if you already have it.
Not to be be a GAS-kill but the internal mic on the iPhone does a pretty good job if all you want is to hear yourself, but the MV88 is definitely better.
