Introduced in 1999 the OM-1 has mortise-and-tenon neck joint. “A-frame” modified X top bracing, laminated neck and tail blocks, angled bridge hole pattern with string ramps. Solid spruce top with Style 28 rosette. Solid mahogany back but laminated sides . One-piece Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, bridge and headstock veneer. Satin finish. Tortoise-shell single-layer celluloid body binding and tortoise-shell coloured pickguard.
Total production 569 (last produced 2002, all 1 Series models dropped 2005)
