So there are two things to consider, one is level balance between the vocal and the guitar , and the other is the guitar having more treble than your vocal.

You have indicated that the guitar is louder or simply more treble than your vocal .

So first you should probably first decide which really is the issue.
Because the guitar producing more treble should be feature not an issue per se.

That is to say it should help distinguish your guitar from you voice which is actually a good thing in a mix .

So first I would try to adjust the balance as per the suggestions so far, move the mic closer to your mouth than the guitar, or angle it up more towards your mouth .

Then if it still seems too much treble, try different strings or if you flat pick a heavier pic
