For my build he suggested a couple of different woods for the ‘inside’ layer, including wenge.

So ... is that just a fancy way to say you'll have a guitar with expensive laminate sides?

I love these build threads, would love to be able to work wood like this myself, and wonder why I never realised that early enough...
