Sooo, it has been a while. Someone asked for a photo of the cabinet with some nice guitars in it. Well after a long trip to Texas with some guitars, a dog, and an SUV, some guitars finally found their forever home. I am back in NY working already, but I did travel with as many guitars I could fit in and still leave room for my traveling companion.
You may notice a change in appearance. I loved the cedar and its job was to absorb water and help then to maintain the humidity, but I ended up sealing it with two coats of poly as 1) it is really pretty and 2) the cedar smell was a little too much and taking away the individual smell of each guitar. So now the humidifier might have to work a little more, but the cabinet looks better IMO and the smell of the cedar is no longer over powering. So here are some pics of the cedar and then 6 beauties inside...in the end, it looks like it will hold 10 pretty well.
