Bluetooth has too much latency to be useable as wireless for live music. It's great for recorded music, but not live.

For smaller budgets, I'd look at the 2.4 GHz wifi range. I have an XVive U2 system that works pretty well. My electric rig I have an audio technica Stomp 10 rig that I like quite a bit.

If I had more money, I'd probably be looking at Shure GLX-D.
