Does anyone know which preamp has basically the same parts as the Epiphone SH PERF-DP Performer Doubleplay Acoustic Pickup & Preamp?
If not does anyone know where you can buy or get the battery holder for this preamp?
I called Gibson and Shadow and noone was able to help me. I know I could replace it with a different model but don't want to cut anything else out of the Epiphone Hummingbird Pro.
The problem is one of the little ears on the side that hold the batteries firmly in place, has broken off and the batteries don't sit right, thus causing the preamp not to work.
Super glued it several time and it just keep breaking.
