I LOVE THE BAGPIPES!!!! as a cape bretoner, i think its heredity..my grandfather made my dad take bagpipe lessons until he realized he was too small to even handle them and not cause he was a child..but just small period. made him switch to piano. at my dads funeral we had an 80+ yr old piper come out of retirement from playing to play him out. every time i hear them now it brings a tear to my eye and pride for my heritage.
