PS: To be honest, I can't hear any degradation in sound compared to your newer recordings, but I imagine if you had an A:B comparison -- here is the old setup, here is the new -- I'd be able to hear the difference. Either way, this is an aural treat just as it is.  |
Thanks so much, Glenn! So glad you enjoyed this one! I had of course sent a CD through to Tom Doerr, and both he and his wife enjoyed the results. I fondly remember when Tom and I discussed tone wood, he let me know that LS Redwood and Cocobolo "would be magical"..........a great combo. It's a fun title and carry different meanings....open as in the guitar opening up, open as in "come on in"!. I do like the play on words there.
