I'm going to wait 8 and see how the case feels. Good call on the humidity. It's getting the two-way D'Adario Humidipaks in it right away once I open it. I usually keep 4-6 in each of my cases.

Feeling the outside of the box will tell you nothing. It's 28 outside my place right now and 68 in here, that's a 40 degree change. I would wait 24 hours before cracking the box open. More import, how long did the seller want you to wait? I ask because if you open faster than instructed and the finish cracks all over the place I doubt the seller will want it back.
