I’ve built cabinets but not guitars. When it comes to tools look at the used market. In the last few years I’ve picked up a top of the line drill press, table saw, power miter and compressor for pennies on the dollar. Used tools have very low resale value and if you’re patient there are plenty of deals to be found.
