Ya , actually you can't really go "any speed you want". You can go any speed you can get away with. Because if the authorities decide your speed is excessive for the conditions you will get stopped . And BTW 130 kph is 80 mph
Not to mention there are definitely already cars prowling the autobahn and the US and elsewhere that boast top speeds of 180-240 mph.
But once again top speed is not the only point of a performance car or "supercar" which is in fact what the OP and discussion is actually about.
And the world is your oyster when it comes to going from 0 to 60 and in that car you can do it in 1.9 seconds

Ok, you are certainly free to pick an arbitrary speed at which to question, or assume is "far enough out there", but in terms of "supercar" it is still oblique and can we also say rhetorical ? After all the discussion is about supercars not practical cars.
