I completely agree with above post that you will want not only volume controls for each signal but also separate eq for each signal. If you don't mind an older but excellent piece of gear, look at the Dtar Solstice. It's been in use by very accomplished guitarists and should be fairly cheap if used. I don't think there are any new ones go be seen. It is exactly what you need. Another example might be the Red Eye Twin. You could also use a small four channel mixer with two 1/4" instrument inputs.
