I am planning on taking this:
and making a guitar out of it. I remember taking the Walnut log to a sawmill with my dad almost 40 years ago. The tree came off my family farm and this summer when I was home my brother told me there was still some of it in an old barn. I picked up all that was left.
I have already started on it. I am making the same body as #7 but with a 14 fret neck out of the same Walnut. I am pairing it with a Cedar top.
