Thankful I got to see him a couple of times in his prime....once at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater and another in Saginaw - both were late 80's.
I was introduced to him briefly by the Warner Brothers record rep at the Saginaw show.
His first 10-12 albums are ingrained in my memory.
Well deserved honor for him.
