Actually, the Smeck bodies are traditionally deeper than most of the 14 fret Gibson slope shoulders, but the “original” Jumbo (1934-35) is also a deep body. The Smecks also have a deeper (and wider) body than than Martin 12 fret dreadnaught. Smeck style guitars from Gibson, Kopp, SCGC, Fairbanks, Guild, and the rest are usually beasts.
