Just talking about pitch correction now, it actually can be very beneficial to the singer. I used one for a while and it makes you hear the dissonance inside your head when you're not spot on. That actually trains you to fix your pitch to remove the dissonance. After some training, you can take it off your board.



Frankly, if I'm listening to someone and they're using subtle pitch correction so I don't notice, I don't give a rat's butt. I'd rather hear someone sing in tune than some holier than thou purist sing off key. And yeah, you might be one. :-)
I finally booted my MicMechanic..i started using the voice exciter, verb, and a little correction, moved to just the exciter and reverb and finally just sold it, All I need is reverb and compression now
And the compression is mainly for the guitar
