I replaced the Sonotone PU in my Martin Road Series with a JJB and the new JJB output jack went right into the hole in the battery box once I got all the Sonotone out. It actually made it easier since I could tighten the OP jack while the battery box was still loose.
It's a huge improvement in plugged in sound. And even a smaller improvement when it's not plugged in.

It’s a different set up to the sonitone battery and jack box. It’s just going to mean I need to unsolder the original wiring the solder in the new after speaking with Fishman about it.
I’ve got a rare earth blend coming. I’ve got one in another guitar and I find it works really well and is discreet for a soundhole PU.
