I've said it before. There are two strings I totally hate: the Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze and anything Elixir. The slimy feel, the stiffness, the un-organic tone, etc. Yuck!!!

On the other hand, I put a Cleartone set yesterday with my 414ce. So far, they feel and sound awesome. Now I'll see how much pounding they can take. If they can, they'll be a permanent part of my Taylor guitars.
