You know, for me, it is kind of like the experience I had after my Mom died: I even missed the things that she used to do that made me crazy, because at the most important and most fundamental level, I just loved her and missed her. So even the Beatles songs that I disliked from the get go, or songs that I came to dislike because I heard them too often on the radio...even those i hold in a glow of affection today.
That time of my life is gone, never to come again, and most of the musical companions of that time, particularly The Beatles, are gone. And there will never be another phenomenon like Beatlemania again. It is all precious...
