Thanks for the suggestion Stephen. Seems the Lucid 88192 could do the job for me assuming it could route its AES to/from the optical. However, it wouldn't be very convenient because I'd have to use the 88192 in addition to my existing audio interface (Motu Ultralite AVB). A Motu 8D would allow me to connect to all my external ADCs and DACs, as well as function as the audio interface to the computer.
