Thank you Kramster. Your Amicus will certainly do it. I have a few tips for you. First thing, get those strings super low. I have sanded down the saddles on all 3 of my Emeralds to the point of nearly fretting out, but not. Next, I believe the Amicus comes from Emerald tuned to D standard. I find that to be too stiff for most of the barre chords I need to play. For that particular song I tuned to C. Lastly, use open strings whenever possible. It really makes for interesting chord voicings and smooth voice leading...not to mention it takes no effort in the left hand to play open strings. It will take longer before you fatigue, also your intonation will be better. You really have to get your Emerald to play effortlessly and it is certainly possible to get it there.
