If you're into Martin strings, try the Retro Monels (in your preferred gauge) on both your acoustic
and electric archtops; FYI back in the 1930's these were the very first electric strings (having seen use on acoustic instruments since the WW I era) before LaBella introduced flatwounds around 1940 - IME they'll provide a fat Big Band-era tone (without sounding dead or weak) once they're broken in, and if you own an all-hog flattop this
