For potential trades I am looking for an 00 size guitar by Martin or Collings, spruce and rosewood, preferably short scale and 1 ¾ inches wide at nut or wider.
This is a steel string guitar by the Canadian luthier Sergei De Jonge built in 2001.
The guitar is in excellent shape, it has an Adirondack spruce soundboard with beautiful Brazilian Rosewood sides and backs and a spalted maple rosette.
The body is similar in size to that of an 000 size guitar. It comes with its original case in great condition.
The soundboard has a clear pick guard.
Scale length is 25.4 in, Width at nut is 1 11/16 inches
String spacing at saddle is ~2 3/16
14 frets to the body,
The neck is straight, no problems. It has a truss rod.
1st string action to the bottom of the string at 12th fret is about 1.5mm mm; at 14th fret about 1.7mm
6th string action to the bottom of the string at 12th fret is about 2.2mm mm; at 14th fret about 2.5mm.
It has markers at frets 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 19
Made in Germany Schaller tuners.
