I told them that I had mine installed in the original location (bridge side of the sound hole) and that I wanted to know why they were now recommending the new location. "We had done some additional testing and found the neck position to have a slightly warmer tone for the mic. It will still work fine where you have it, but if you need a little more warmth from the mic, you may want to switch it to the neck position. If you need further help, let me know."

I think I'll keep mine where it is for now, but I guess there's always the option to move it if I decide later.
