You cannot go wrong with the Cordoba C5, or even the 7/8 sized C5 Dolce. These guitars might be the best of the bunch at their respective prices. The Dolce would be great for taking along, since it is ever so slightly smaller and has a comfortable 24.8 inch scale length. The true rods in the Cordoba necks would be an advantage for a guitar that will be out on the beach and subject to greater than usual variances in temp and humidity. C5 models are lightweight and pleasant sounding guitars. I just gave our oldest daughter my C5 Limited model. She is really liking it. Now I need to replace it.... maybe with a C5 Dolce
