Default 2012 David Webber, Red Spruce/Ziricote Dreadnought *Sold*

This is a nice example of David's work for either finger style, flatpicking or strumming. The top is Appalachian Red Spruce from Aaron Hix and the Ziricote is from Hibdon Hardwood, both well quartered. I am the original owner.

Guitar has good sustain, with a tone that sides more to the fundamental side of the spectrum, rather than strong overtones. Tone is more modern than traditional. The guitar is in very good to excellent condition, no dents or marks, only normal player wear (nothing that shows in photographs). Guitar has been humidified and in a non-smoking environment.

The guitar was serviced at the Twelfth Fret in Toronto last year, light buff to clean it up, and the action lowered slightly. It is still set up slightly higher for strumming, lots of saddle left to lower it further. Frets in good condition.

All-in-all, this is a well balanced guitar. Originally purchased for $3775 CAD, asking $2125 (approx. $1605 USD at current exchange rates).

(EDIT: Oct 19/19 - I noted below that I did not have any equipment to record so I got an iRig and was able to produce a fairly good M4A recording of what the guitar sounds like. If interested, PM me your email address and I will send you the file.

I should also not that I am not looking for any trades as I am trying to reduce the total number of guitars at this time)

(NOTE: these are my original pics from 2012, but nothing has changed)

Here is my original AGF NGD post for this guitar -

The reason for selling is that I no long play this guitar that much. Since I purchased my Michaud OO-R, I rarely pull this one out. This guitar should not just sit in its case and deserves to be played more (has aged well over the last 7 years). Would be a nice addition to anyone's collection and would make a nice option for someone looking to get into the custom guitar market. Actually, at this price point, it has good value, sound, and playability.

Payment via e-Transfer preferred, Paypal to verified address is the other option. Buyer to pay actual shipping costs. This guitar would ship from the Toronto area in Canada, better resolution pics available upon request via email.

Thanks for viewing.
