This is a tough one to answer.
My Alvarez AD60 that I got a few years back as the Stupid Deal of the Day for $199 punches way about it's weight class. It badly needed a set-up (particularly at the Nut), but sounds and plays quite good now.
On the higher end, I was able to pick up a NOS (w/ Full Warranty) 816ce for $2100. It would be hard to out-do that guitar at that price point. It was a couple years old and needed some pretty significant cleaning, but it's in excellent condition now.
