Those in the earlier time zones have that 2 to 3 hour advantage! Well, unless they sleep in and you are an early riser.
It may not seem fair, but that is the price you have to pay to live in California.
Unless someone has "insider information," I am not aware of any advance notice of when Emerald will release that e-mail.
I was in Arizona last year when I saw the e-mail and then the photo of the guitar that hooked me... when I clicked "BUY" the order didn't go through. Error message! Arrrrrrggggghhhhh! A quick contact with Sean made sure that one was mine.
