Default chicago tuning strings

my tenor guitars are tunes DGBE.
I am primarily a baritone uke player and I prefer nylon strings. The only tenor I have had that was braced for nylon strings was Pono Nui. It was pretty good but lacked some punch and volume. Sadly, I sent it down the road before I found this set.
On my 0-18t, I am using .28 and .024 silk and steel wound D and G strings.

The real break-through was finding the Thomastik-Infeld wound tape nylon strings.
I use a .016 and .024 for my E and B trebles. They just ring!!!!they last and last. No nylon string can compare. they are thin enough so no nut slot adjustment is necessary. My little Martin 0 body tenor is loud with this set-up. There is less tension on the neck and the only draw-back I see is the cost of the wound nylon strings. they can be bought as singles for around $4.85 apiece. they are well worth it.
