I have the honor of serving on the board of directors for Little Hickory Productions, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music scholarships for talented and deserving young people. Currently we provide scholarships at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL, The Wellsboro, PA Middle and High Schools, and an endowed scholarship at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pa.
Each year in August Little Hickory Productions produces a Bluegrass/Americana music festival in Wellsboro, PA called 'Hickory Fest' to raise money which is used to continue to fund these scholarships and to add new scholarships. Unfortunately, in 2020 we were unable to hold the festival because of the pandemic. Alternatively, we have produced a music album which honors the life of our late founder, Sue Cunningham, a remarkable woman who was an award winning bluegrass fiddle player, a classically trained violinist, and a PhD engineer who when working for Pratt & Whitney led the development team for the F119 turbine module for modern jet aircraft. It's our hope in presenting Sue's life story in music, words and photos to raise sufficient money through the sale of the Ode to An Angel album and its accompanying 52 page Songbook to continue to provide our scholarships.
For those of you who are bluegrass or Americana fans this album/songbook has some great performances by numerous world class musicians such as Verlon Thompson and Shawn Camp as well as the debut of a previously unreleased Guy Clark song, while the accompanying Songbook has close to 100 behind the scenes photos, lyric sheets, and the exclusive backstory to each song and recording.
Currently you can get more information, purchase the Ode to An Angel Songbook 1 and get a digital download of the album by going to: https:

For those of you who still prefer CDs for listening, a CD and Songbook combo is expected to be available sometime after December 22nd.
Thanks for your consideration,
