The voice balances between clarity in the bass and juicy overtones in the trebles, and the slight multiscale makes for great play feel and intonation in lowered tunings--playing in DADGAD and beyond is an exercise in ease. Even though it's brand new, this beauty already boasts an airy and opened up tone to rival an older, played-in instrument.
