I really dig the Monel strings. They feel and sound just right to me.
I’ve never used the “webbing” kind of strings, but the boys that set up my new Taylor 414ce tell me that’s what they come with out of the factory. I’m not sold on them. I think that guitar will sound better with other strings. The webbing throws me off, even if it’s the “thin” kind of webbing. I think it’s time to put on a set of monels and see what pans out.
