The sound is full and rich, with incredible clarity. When flatpicked, the guitar is also LOUD. In the hands of a good fingerpicker, it's capable of excellent tonal range and subtlety. The neck profile is a "non-chunky" modified C and, in terms of comfort, reminds me of the neck of a Huss & Dalton DS I used to own. Very pleasant to play. In fact, it's considerably less chunky than the neck I had on my glorious old Brazilian Northwood mini-jumbo years ago. However, YMMV, as I don't know if John has changed his standard neck profile in recent years.

Would the Rozawood replace your Northwood and Martin guitars? I dunno...but I bet it would come close!
