Interesting question, and not easy to answer for me.

I'm older than the OP, and quite aware of my body reminding me of my age, so I don't have those "well I thought I was 30 until I...." moments. I do recall having them in my 40s and 50s. But I think the OP was aiming at something less physical, "mental age", that age or we consider ourselves to be in some dream or discorporate state when our body isn't reminding us.

There, I'm trying to remind myself of my age, the number of times I've been out around the course, trying to use that realization and experience constructively. But I feel I need to make an effort to do that, because I also feel (and have always felt) a little immature. I still do things on a whim, postpone responsibilities, and forget to give my family their propers. So what is my mental age? It really seems to be all over the place.
