Carmel Cedar, the Savoy and the X7 are soooo different that is is like comparing apples and oranges. In their own right each one is a great guitar. The Savoy, for me is the guitar that fits right like in "The Three Bears." I love the Savoy neck and its sound, playability and size. On the other hand I am really enjoying the X7 for it's ergonomics. The X7 is a great, intimate little guitar. I have a feeling that when I go to play out that the Savoy will come with me (at least for the season's first gig).

Barb, when I played a Savoy I got the sense that the upper mids were emphsized. Do you find that the X7 is more balanced across the frequency response spectrum?
