Hi John,
The Sonic Sitka was some good wood to work with and I was fortunate to be able to cherry pick these sets from Dennis' private stash that he was saving back
It has the typical Sitka properties; warm, responsive, lots of headroom, etc... + it has some very cool bearclaw figure unlike the standard bearclaw that I have come to expect. It was more of a color variation in the wood rather than concentrated grain wiggle that you commonly see in Sitka bearclaw figure.
