I would try Handbrake - it's free and works well.
If that doesn't work, then post a short clip in a downloadable cloud location (dropbox, et al.) and let some folks here give it a go.
I use Final Cut Pro and do all kinds of rotations (0.1 - 359.9) in it and it seems to handle that well, though I've never seen your particular format.
