Ok...I know it's been a while on this Bubinga guitar, but it's finally coming together. Hopefully it will be singing loudly as the first "shop" guitar next week!
I'll start you off some shots of getting the next ready to put on the body. The first one is Steve wet-sanding the peghead that is topped with some wildly red Indian Rosewood (sold as Brazilian but that's another story).
Next is Steve attempting the wonderful but always dangerous step of buffing out a neck on our homemade buffer. Don't ask if anything has been thrown down to the concrete floor before. Everyone loves that high shine, and we aim to get it!
The plan is to get the neck installed on the body today! More pics will follow shortly.
