Well, there really isn't much known about this model. They were supposedly made in late 1991 and 1992 (mine is a 1992) and the "lore" is that Bob wanted to develop a Jazz guitar, so they made the J15 and it has been dubbed the "Jazzbo" as it was one of Bob's pet projects. Evidently, it didn't sell well, either because the market for acoustic flat top jazz guitars was limited, it cost too much, or wasn't promoted well (perhaps all of the above).

It is a well-built guitar, rather heavy, but does have a very loud voice. Short of talking to Bob himself about this guitar, you'll not find much, if anything in writing about it I am afraid.
