Contact Alistair directly at Emerald - he'll make it right. Customer service is their thing. I've owned four Emeralds now, three of them custom woody's and two of those custom orders build specifically for me. I've never noticed any of those types of issues. Then again I've also never looked any of them with a electron microscope. And I never will.
