The Myrtle I am using for Jmat's guitar is a bit less fancy than other Myrtle I've used, but structurally it is at another level. We are after performance with this one, and though the previous efforts are utterly impressive, this one has a chance of being an "uber-guit'r". This material is both stiffer and heavier, and the back had to be nearly 10 thou thinner to get the "feel" I look for. Nearly as thin as I make Brazilian Rosewood!
