I've been to a lot of studios, and have never seen one used as the go-to acoustic mic yet.
Not trying to be contrary, but there are better choices (my opinion based on doing acoustic recordings for over a decade now). It's ok, but not stellar...and my experience is it lacks detail compared to other comparable mics.
Better drum mic than acoustic guitar...
