I don't know. guitars I paid a lot for way back have given me great joy and will probably at least sell for more once my wife has successfully disposed of me.
However if she hits me over the head with one - she might make a loss on that one.
Seriously - I daon't particularly look for "bargains" - I don't have an unlimited budget but I mostly buy used, with my priority of buynig the guitars that "suit" my hands and my style best.
Over the years the buying cost becomes immaterial and will probably at least return the same or more when sold.
