I have a slightly older version of this little Mackie, and it's really cool.
I'm the drummer/vocalist in a Jazz Trio that plays "live" over backing tracks.
This works not only as my vocal mic mixer (out to BOSE compact) but as my earbud mixer for the backing tracks.
It sits on my bass drum and I can control the volume and tone for what I'm hearing, as well as what I'm sending.
Frankly, it's become such a valuable tool, I oughta buy this as a back up!
I have even used it as a sub-mixer for an acoustic duo to run extra guitars through that were in alternative tunings.
That way, they didn't have to unplug/replug.
It's a versatile piece of equipment with many uses.
