Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving...

The bridge was getting glued on, in the new guitar case no less... I think it’s because JK is getting so popular he has no more space on his workbench!

Nice dark BRW bridge for maximum in tone and not to over-complicate the look of the top. The saddle looks a bit high but that gets shaped later on as everything gets fitted.

The bridge pins are bone from Bob Colosi in aged amber. I got those unevenly shaded ones as that’s my preference and style, I think judging from the rest of the guitar you can tell! Bob says that you don’t need to spend a fortune on more exotic materials for bridge pins because bone is as far as tone gets optimized. Anything more expensive like Walrus won’t make it sound worse but it won’t sound better either. Aesthetics wise that’s another matter! I was happy to settle for bone in this case.

Unfortunately the spotlight glare doesn’t show the color of the pins but in normal light it looks more like this:
