So here’s more progress shots for Jamie et al. Still working on the rim assembly, we installed the back reverse-kerfed linings with our special color coded clamps. Now say “color coded clamps” three times fast.




Every back needs its six month dental inspection. Here I’m using a dental pick to inscribe where the back brace pockets will go while clearing the occasional plaque residue. Once this is finished, I’ll use the big drill (router) to cut away the pockets.




Port Orford Cedar side braces seem to match the Port Orford top, so those are put in to line up with the back braces. The clamps make little feet to hold up the sides and little hands to shout for joy.




Keeping the medical check up theme in mind...nevermind, I’m not going to describe what’s happening here.
