This is an awesome thread. So nice to see all this talent!
I still consider myself a beginner and any music I play is the easy pieces I've been learning as I try to better myself. I still trip all over myself when playing and sometimes it feels like I'll never get there. I've been trying since 2011 when I first joined this forum asking about what would be a good first guitar (Yamaha was the overwhelming suggestion
). So, I do not, as of yet, have the true ability to express myself with the guitar and develop a "style" of my own. That said, I am awed by the talented people on this forum and their passion for music. I hope some day to be able to play at the level of what has been showcased here.
Sometimes when opinions clash on here and some discussions go of the rails and people get a bit put off, it is good to be reminded that we are all here for our love of guitar. This was a refreshing thread and I applaud all who have contributed to let shine their personality through music. Bravo!
