My thoughts as well. The Blues Junior doesn't have those sparkling Fender cleans like the other Fender amps mentioned here. I'm not sure about the newest Blues Juniors but the older ones had EL84 tubes and I think most of the other Fenders are 6V6 / 6L6 tubes.

The older green board (versions I and II) were fairly dark, but the cream board (III and now IV) has Fender Clean (bright/severe with stock speaker).
