I am really more of a strummer than a picker but will often insert basic melody lines in my strumming. Love my martin 000-15SM. I find the wider neck very comfortable (same thing/same width on my new D-18 too). The 12 fret body in the 000 size sounds more full and robust to me than 14 fret.
